Adapted from the Isaac Asimov monument, Foundation follows the adventure of a group of exiles in their monumental quest: to save humanity. Meeting with the actors and David S. Goyer, the creator of the series.
After Dune in the cinema, Foundation is the other major science fiction event this year. Announced in 2018, it is finally revealed before our eyes. Broadcast since September 24 on Apple TV +, Foundation is an ambitious adaptation. Indeed, the work of Isaac Asimov has long had the reputation of being unsuitable. But such a challenge did not stop David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) who attacks a monument here.
A monument car Foundation is based on a complex plot, which mixes power and politics, and which spans the ages. It’s a work-sum which requires pedagogy, without falling into a simplistic demagoguery which would distort its purpose. To see more clearly, we met the team of the series: David S. Goyer the creator, Lee Pace who plays Brother Day, Lou Llobell who plays Gaal Dornick and Leah Harvey who plays Salvor Hardin.
