After being pushed back to avoid a confrontation with God of War Ragnarok, the action-RPG Forspoken will finally be available on January 24 on PS5 and PC. A big January release, with Dead Space Remake, which promotes it with a splendid video.

Forspoken make it beautiful with a beautiful cinematic

The new IP from Luminous Productions and Square Enix, Forspokenwill therefore land in a few days exclusively on PS5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and for the moment, it is difficult to gauge the wait. Many players found the demo disappointing, but it was obviously far from being representative of the final game which should be much better according to the developers.

Others have already pointed out a fairly violent downgrade that will certainly be quickly forgotten. Provided that the title manages to convince in other areas such as its aerial gameplay which recalls another PlayStation saga: inFamous. Anyway, we will be there to give you our verdict, and in the meantime, we have the right to a rhythmic and very controlled cinematic. After all, Square Enix has always been masters in the art of CGI.

In one minute flat, the Forpsoken trailer sums up the overall story of the game. A young New Yorker, Frey Holland (Ella Balinska), is snatched from her apartment and catapulted into the magical world of Athia. She will have to learn the rules that govern this universe, to control the powers she inherited and do everything possible to return to her hometown.
