The first trailer for Apple’s highly anticipated series has been released.
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the upcoming thriller drama “Shantaram”. Starring “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam, the series will air on October 14 with its first three episodes.
Based on the epic novel by Gregory David Roberts, “Shantaram” will tell the story of an ex-con from Australian prisons to the slums of Mumbai. In the trailer, we see Hunnam as Lin Ford, who escaped from prison and realized he had to travel halfway around the world to stay free. Finding himself in Bombay, he soon discovers the hard way that although he is slowly building a new life there, no one can stay hidden forever…
In addition, the trailer is intriguing, revealing the tense aspects of the series, particularly Ford’s relationship with Karla Saaranen (Antonia Desplat), who often misses words that left us wondering what her deal was. We also see that Ford, despite being a wanted man, has found a way to salvation in Bombay, making his life even more difficult if he has to flee once again.
