The shooting of the movie, in which Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix plays Napoleon, continues in London.

The first photos of master director Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” movie, which will tell the life of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, where we see the leading role Joaquin Phoenix in Napoleon costume, have been leaked. The movie, which was first announced as “Kitbag” but later renamed “Napoleon”, also had a casting change before going on the set.
Jodie Comer, who also starred in Ridley Scott’s “The Last Duel”, would play the character of Napoleon’s first wife and great love Josephine in the movie, but Comer had to leave the project due to his busy work schedule. Instead, we will watch Vanessa Kirby, who starred in “The Crown”, “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” as Josephine and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in “Pieces of a Woman”.
The screenplay of the film, which tells the life of Napoleon Bonaparte, who was an ordinary soldier, rose to the Emperor of France, and his intelligence, military tactics, and his ups and downs with Josephine. David Scarpa wrote it. Scarpa has previously written screenplays for films such as “All the Money in the World” and “The Day the Earth Stood Still”.
Filming of “Napoleon” continues in south London.
