The first trailer for the sequel to the 2011 movie “Puss in Boots”, which came 11 years later, was shared.
Universal Pictures released the first trailer for “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish”, the sequel to Puss in Boots, a heroin Dreamworks’ beloved animation Shrek, who appeared in 2011 with his own solo movie.
Also voiced by Antonio Banderas, Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has cost him dearly after he recklessly wastes eight of his nine lives. But he must go on one last adventure. Puss, who embarks on a long and difficult journey to the Dark Forest in order to find the legendary “Last Wish”, will be able to renew his nine health if he achieves his goal.
Puss is also forced to humiliate herself and seek help from her former partner and nemesis, the charming Kitty Soft Paws (Salma Hayek). Along the way, the talkative and cheerful dog Perro (Harvey Guillen) helps them. Together, our three protagonists must stay one step ahead of the bounty hunter known as Goldilocks (Florence Pugh), the Three Bears Crime Family, ‘Big’ Jack Horner (John Mulaney), and The Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura).
Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the voice cast also includes Oscar winners Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, Anthony Mendez, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
“Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” hits theaters on September 23.
