“Finch”, the next film worn by Tom Hanks, unveils its trailer. Directed by Miguel Sapochnik, this post-apocalyptic feature film will be available on Apple TV + on November 5.
Finch : the new project of Tom Hanks
After USS Greyhound – Battle of the Atlantic, the comedian Tom Hanks continues his partnership with Apple TV + since next November will be showing at Finch. This post-apocalyptic work is directed by Miguel Sapochnik, a 47-year-old British director who mostly illustrated on series by making episodes of Game Of Thrones, of True Detective or even Iron fist. It is also to him that we owe the sci-fi thriller Repo Men.
Finch tells the fate of a man, a dog and a robot in a post-apocalyptic universe. This trio unlike any other must face solar storms, high temperatures, water and food shortages and belligerent survivors, the time to reach a potential refuge in the mountains. Finch (Tom Hanks) is a former robotics engineer. To feel less alone and protect your dog if he were to die, he therefore decides to create a robot to accompany them in their adventures. But Finch must teach this new robot everything, however, who does not yet know anything about life.
An endearing trailer
Appel TV + just shared the first trailer of Finch. First images which are not necessarily very original but which nevertheless promise a grandiose spectacle that will not be devoid of emotional springs. The man + dog + robot combo promises to offer some emotional sequences that should trigger laughter and tears without any problem. The references to some great science fiction classics are obvious. We can thus see a direct link with I’m a legend for the relationship between man and animal in a post-apocalyptic environment, a report to Chappie for processing artificial intelligence and the robot and finally to The road for the road trip aspect in an inhospitable environment (to name a few). Anyway, this first trailer promises a great show, to find on November 5 on Apple TV +.
