The actor of the movie, Jamie Lee Curtis, announced the start of the shooting in a post on his Instagram account.
After the delays due to the pandemic, the shooting of Halloween Ends, the highly anticipated sequel to the David Gordon Green movie Halloween Kills, which was released last year, has begun. The movie is scheduled to be released this year.
Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays the character of Laurie Strode in the movie, which continues the story that started with the 1978 movie Halloween, written and directed by the master director of horror movies John Carpenter, confirmed firsthand that the shooting has started and that he has returned to the series by sharing a photo on his Twitter account. In the photo we see Curtis as Laurie Strode, wearing clear-rimmed glasses similar to her glasses from the 2018 movie Halloween, and a rusty orange jacket perfect for a spooky night hunt.
Laurie was mostly in a hospital bed in Halloween Kills because she was still trying to recover from her Halloween scars. Both films take place on the same night, similar to the original 1978 film and the first sequel, and as with the 2018 sequel, it looks like Laurie will play a much more active role in the hunt this time around. The cast of the movie includes Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as Kyle Richards and Andi Matichak.
