A release date for FF7 Crisis Core Reunion

FF7 Crisis Core Reunion will be released on December 13, 2022 on all platforms, it’s official. Square Enix announced the news at Nintendo’s latest conference with Switch gameplay snippets in the video below. Unlike other ports of the genre, this version should hold up graphically on the portable hybrid console. Obviously, we won’t wait to have it in our hands before making a real judgment.

We remind you that FF7 Crisis Core Reunion is neither a remake nor a remaster. It will include completely reworked HD graphics, a remastered soundtrack, a reimagined interface, an improved combat system and greater freedom of movement. The spin-off, linked directly to FF7 Remake 2, takes place seven years before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Players take on the role of Zack, a second-class SOLDIER, sent to the capital of Wutai to put an end to the resistance, but nothing will go as planned.
