After the departure of Justin Lin, replaced by Louis Leterrier, the production of “Fast & Furious 10” (titled “Fast X”) was able to resume. Present in Rome for the filming of the film, Jason Momoa was talked about, but not in the best way.

The big cast of Fast X

From movies to movies, the saga Fast & Furious has always sought to do more. More stunts, more cars, more action and above all, more stars! With Fast Xthe first part of the announced grand finale of the franchise, we logically expected to see on the heavy casting side. But the successive announcements have clearly exceeded our expectations.

Already the usual Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham and Jordana Brewster will be back, as will the newest recruits Kurt Russell, Helen Mirren, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel and Charlize Theron, the next film will also welcome new renowned performers. There will indeed be a real team of superheroes with Daniela Melchior, revealed in The Suicide Squad, Captain Marvel Brie Larson and finally the Aquaman Jason Momoa. Heavy we said!

Jason Momoa poses at the Vatican

It is precisely the latter who has recently been talked about, but not in the best of ways. As revealed The Hollywood ReporterJason Momoa was present in Rome to shoot scenes for the film. The actor took the opportunity to do some sightseeing and take a look in the Vatican Sistine Chapel. An important place for Catholics and where countless visitors come every year to admire its magnificent frescoes. One thing to know, it is It is forbidden to take pictures there.. Except that Jason Momoa has just published pictures on his account instagramthus making several users react.

The actor obviously responded by giving his version of the facts. He explained that he was able, thanks to a donation of money, to organize a private tour for him, friends and some members of the team of Fast X. Other people present at the time then asked to take a picture with himwhich he agreed to do while finding it strange.

I met people who wanted to take pictures with me. Which is strange when you take a trip to the Vatican with all that splendor. But these people wanted to pose with me, which I don’t understand, but whatever, I did. I was very respectful and asked permission.

It should therefore be noted that Jason Momoa received the authorization, a priori, from security. If it really shouldn’t be done, we would certainly have told him. The actor nevertheless presented his excuses and affirming that at no time did you want to offend anyone. A case that should not upset the continuity of the filming of Fast X who, after seeing Justin Lin leave the project, was able to resume under the direction of Louis Leterrier.
