By opening an official site was recently knownthat the manga series »Delicious in Dungeon« (Japanese: »Dungeon Meshi«) will be adapted as an anime series. You can see a first visual later in this article.
Anime is created by TRIGGER
At the moment it is only known that the series will be produced in Studio TRIGGER (»Promare«). Further information about the participants in the production or the voice cast is not yet available. We will of course continue to keep you informed.
The original manga was penned by Ryoko Kui and has been published in Harta magazine since February 2014. The publisher KADOKAWA has published eleven volumes in the Japanese trade so far. The work has been published in Germany since November 2019 by Egmont Manga in German.
The series was nominated for the Manga Taisho Awards in 2016 and 2019 and topped the 2016 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Male Reader Top List. The manga was ranked 13th in Da Vinci Magazine’s comics rankings in 2015 and most recently ranked 35th in 2020.
