The first two seasons of Upload are the pinnacle of sci-fi comedy entertainment. All the more gratifying that it is now clear that the series will soon be in season 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
If you haven’t watched “Upload” yet, we recommend that you put this article aside immediately and catch up on the Amazon comedy series instead. With its countless original ideas for the future, its satirical, accurate humor, and its big heart, its first season has not only been one of the best series of 2020 for us for a long time but is also one of them alongside sci-fi hits like “The Expanse”. THE genre is highlighted on Amazon Prime Video. And the second season, which will be released in 2022, is in no way inferior (on the review collection page Rotten Tomatoes it currently even stands for 100 percent positive reviews).
As soon as you have watched the 17 episodes so far, you can look forward to the latest news about the series: Amazon has greenlit a third season of Upload. The US trade journals report unanimously.
It is unclear at the moment, however, whether fans of the current series of “The Office”- and “Parks And Recreation” creator Greg Daniels again have to wait so long until the supplies appear. It was almost two years between Season 1 and Season 2.
this is an “upload”
“Upload” presents us with a near future where humans – given the financial means to do so – will be able to upload their consciousness to a virtual afterlife after death and live an idyllic afterlife there.
One day, the procedure is also initiated by the filthy rich Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) for her dying boyfriend Nathan (Robbie Amell). While the programmer then has to find his way in his new virtual environment with its (almost) unlimited possibilities, he falls more and more in love with the customer advisor Nora (Andy Allo), who supports him from the real world.
