Original French creation for the Disney + platform, “Week-End Family” with Éric Judor is revealed with a very first teaser.
To celebrate its 2 years, Disney + is offering, this Friday, November 12, Disney + Day, a special day with many announcements and surprises. The opportunity to unveil, in France, the very first teaser of Week-End Family, the platform’s first original French production. The few seconds set the tone: a jovial, family and electric dynamic thanks to which viewers discover the characters of this program which echoes the comedy Thirteen by the dozen.
This is Eric Judor playing the first role of this series composed of 8 episodes – each lasting 30 minutes. Created by Baptiste Filleul – screenwriter, among others, ofUnfaithful on TF1 -, the fiction tells the adventures of Fred, father of a reconstituted family. His life changes when he meets Emmanuelle (Daphné Côté-Hallé), a Quebecer who is finishing her thesis in child psychology. Very quickly, the young woman will introduce this large family and cross paths with 3 ex-wives of Fred.
In the production, we find Pierre-François Martin-Laval (The Teachers 1 and 2) and Sophie Reine (Ciragettes and hot chocolate). Alongside Eric Judor, the cast is made up of Annelise Hesme, Jeanne Bournaud, Hafid F. Benamar and Anabel Lopez. While no release date has been officially announced, Family Weekend should arrive on Disney + in 2022.
