If you went to see “Encanto: the fantastic Madrigal family”, the latest animated film from Disney studios, one of the songs must have been stuck in your head for a few days. “Let’s not talk about Bruno” recently broke a historic record, even surpassing “Liberated, delivered”. Crazy!

Encanto: welcome to the Madrigal family

Released in theaters on November 24, the latest from Disney studios is a great success. In France, Encanto has already attracted more than two and a half million spectators, and collected more than 223 million dollars in worldwide box office.

The film follows the adventures of the Madrigal family, a rather special sibling since each member has a Magic power, given by their enchanted house. All but one: Mirabel, one of the daughters of the family, who has received no special gift, which makes her feel excluded. But when the magic of the house is threatened, it turns out to be the only hope of this extraordinary family.

A song makes the event

The great strength ofEncanto live in his songs catchy tunes that punctuate the film like a musical. Composed by Lin Manuel-Miranda, they highlight the emotions that run through the feature film. We think in particular of the song of Luisa, the big sister of Mirabel.

But it’s another piece that came to create the craze. The one on the character of Bruno. Indeed, impossible not to have his catchy chorus in the head (Let’s not talk about Bruno) after watching the movie.

The song is now listed at fourth place from Billboard Top 100 in the USA. She thus exceeded Let It Go (who had only climbed to fifth place). It thus equals the most famous songs of Disney, namely Air of wind of Pocahontas (1995) and Love shines under stars from Lion King (1994).
