With a success as colossal as that ofElden Ring, some might lose their footing. And besides, why such a success for a game described as demanding? Director Hidetaka Miyazaki doesn’t know that and doesn’t want to dwell on it. He prefers to move on and not be distracted by anything.

I’m distraught when people ask me why Elden Ring had so much success. But my feeling is that I don’t intend to change the way I do things in the future.
