For its World Premiere, at the Venice Film Festival 2021, “Dune” aroused enthusiastic reactions from spectators. Review of tweets of notices posted at the exit of the room.

Presented out of competition (and as a World Premiere) at the 2021 Venice Film Festival, Dune is one of the most anticipated films for the start of the school year (and probably of the year), and moviegoers are naturally on the lookout for the reactions of the lucky ones who premiered Denis Villeneuve’s feature film. DashFUN offers you a compilation of reactions on Twitter.

The least that can be said is that the SF film directed by Denis Villeneuve has aroused rave reviews to say the least. “Masterpiece of cinema”, “powerful”, “monumental”, “flamboyant”, “impressive”, “Gigantic artistic and cinematographic slap” …

Many superlatives used by viewers and journalists to describe the Canadian filmmaker’s SF fresco. Ramin Setoodeh (Variety) even declared Dune to be The Lord of the Rings from Villeneuve. We let you discover the various reviews and opinions on the feature film.

“Dune is the Lord of the Rings by Denis Villeneuve. “

“I know you’re used to people overdoing a movie on social media after a preview. But trust me, Dune is a masterpiece, and not just science fiction. , but cinema. I hadn’t been so captivated in a theater for a very long time. “

“I can confirm that Dune: 1 / Will probably be one of the greatest epics in the history of sci-fi. 2 / The cast is incredible on every level. 3 / Wonderful mix of digital and practical special effects. 4 / C ‘ is without doubt the most beautiful score of Hans Zimmer. To see in the cinema! “

“I saw Dune and it was one of the most immersive cinema sessions I have ever experienced with a sci-fi film. It is masterfully mastered cinema. Combined with monstrous sound, the film transports you to a new world, exciting, horrifying, but sublime. “

Dune received an 8-minute standing ovation at the end of the Venetian screening, in the presence of the director and the actors. Released in theaters September 15th.
