Dragon Age Absolution: finally a trailer and a date, it’s coming very quickly

Dragon Age Absolution finally unveils a first trailer and reveals its release date. The anime series is coming faster than we thought.

As Dragon Age 4 progresses slowly but surely, BioWare intends to offer fans a little appetizer. After several years of scarcity, Netflix finally comes to give them something to eat: Dragon Age Absolution. The streaming giant has finally unveiled the first images and of its animated series, as well as a release date.

Dragon Age Absolution will be available in December

Netflix collects video game adaptations before as much fervor as Thanos and the Infinity Stones. After Arcane and Cyberpunk Edgerunners, it will be the turn of Dragon Age Absolution. The animation series produced by the studio Red Dog Culture House (The Witcher : Nightmare of the Wolf) will be available on the SVoD platform from December 9, 2022. Cut into 6 episodes of 30 minutes, the adaptation tells the story of Miriam, a former elf slave who became a mercenary. Her adventures will lead her to a failed robbery against the most powerful man in Tevinter, the playground of Dragon Age 4.

Dragon Age Absolution should therefore serve as a prequel to the long-awaited game and it is not excluded to find certain characters in the fourth part. Netflix and Electronic Arts are therefore betting on a solid cast, where we find, for example, Ashly Burch (Horizon Zero Dawn) as Qwydion, a talkative Qunari mage who has a penchant for explosions. Matt Mercer (OverwatchPersona 5, Critical Role) will play Fairbanks, a rebel fighter who stands out for his sense of adventure. Josh Keaton (Marvel’s Spider-Man, Hercules) meanwhile will lend his voice to Rezaren, a man determined to make Tevinter a better place, no matter the cost.
