“Jurassic Domination” is the latest work from The Asylum – the studio behind trash grenades like the “Sharknado” series. The Californian company is best known for countering whenever there’s a big blockbuster with one of their cheaply downplayed flicks full of no-name actors that’s similarly named and has vague story similarities.
The aim is, of course, to confuse mentally distracted customers in the electronics store or from online providers who actually wanted to buy the big-budget product and to tempt them to buy it. Recent examples are “Moon Crash“, as Roland Emmerich’s “Moonfall’ came to the cinema, ‘Planet Dune” as a double for Denis Villeneuves “Dune’ and most recently ‘Top Gunner 2: Danger Zone’ – the C-movie counterpart to ‘Top Gun 2: Maverick”.
The Chris Pratt Blockbuster “Jurassic World 3: A New Era” was released in the US under the title “Jurassic World Dominion“ and is known to be coming to home cinemas in Germany on August 25, 2022. “Jurassic Domination” should now go in its slipstream and will follow on September 9, 2022 with FSK 16 approval on Blu-ray and DVD. Both formats can already be pre-ordered from online providers such as Amazon:

If you want to get serious about dinosaur madness from The Asylum, you can also order “Triassic World” and “Triassic Hunt”. The double whammy filmed with 1980s star Michael Paré (“The Philadelphia Experiment”) is knit on a similar level and was built in the wake of the previous “Jurassic World“-originals thrown onto the market.

The film was directed by Brian Nowak, who already fabricated a cheap copy of the Hollywood hit “Meg” with “Megalodon Rising” and in the USA with “Bullet Train Down” just made a clone of the Brad Pitt vehicle “Bullet Train“ was able to get started.
The only halfway known names in the cast of “Jurassic Domination” are Jamie Bernadette (“I Spit On Your Grave: Deja Vu”) and Eric Roberts. Superstar’s older brother Julia However, Roberts had his best time in the 1990s, when he was involved in titles such as “The Specialist” or “Mississippi Delta”.
Here Roberts plays General Greer, a US military commander who sits in the Pentagon and gives orders over the phone to his subordinate, Colonel Ramirez (Bernadette). Ramirez is said to be with a small team of Elite-Soldiers hunt down two escaped allosaurs terrorizing the residents of an otherwise laid-back small town in the mountains.
The operation must go off as quietly as possible, since the government is of course to blame for the catastrophe. After all, scientists once cloned the primal creatures on their behalf and made them almost invulnerable through gene manipulation, which was only a good idea until the dinosaurs broke out and attacked innocent people…
