In “Blowback – Time For Payback” we meet rideshare driver Nick (Cam Gigandet). He urgently needs a lot of money for the treatment of his sick daughter Emma (Melissa Diaz). Since he would never honestly get the money he needed, he plots a bank robbery.
However, because he cannot do the complicated job alone, he contacts his ex-girlfriend. Veronica (Michele Plaia) then introduces him to her new lover Jack (Randy Couture) and his crime crew. After conscientious preparation, the heist runs like clockwork and Nick is relieved to be able to help Emma.
But during the escape, his accomplices suddenly turn against him. They grab all the loot, shoot Nick in the chest and just leave him to die. Miraculously, he survived and hatched a new plan while he was still in the hospital: This time, Nick not only wants to get all the money, but also wants to take bloody revenge on the traitors…
Blowback – Time For Payback will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 29, 2022. Both discs with the FSK-16 seal can already be pre-ordered from the usual providers, such as Amazon. From September 22nd you can also buy the thriller digitally and then stream it immediately as VoD:

Tibor Takac (“Rats”) directed the Ravager, while Cam Gigandet stars. Moviegoers know the mime from titles as diverse as The Fighters, Pandorum, and the hugely successful Twilight series. On television he has had major roles in series such as “OC, California”, “Tin Star” and most recently “Ice”.
Gigandet’s character’s antagonist is six-time UFC champion and ex-Army Sergeant Randy Couture. At the beginning of the current millennium, the muscle mountain began to act. His breakthrough role was as a member of Sylvester Stallone’s mercenary crew in the popular action series The Expendables. He had other notable roles in “Redbelt”, “Stretch” and “Antidote”. There were also recurring guest appearances on the TV series “Ballers” and “Hawaii Five-0”.
Also joining the cast are Louis Mandylor (“Rambo 5: Last Blood”), Chris Maher (“Locked In”), Michele Plaia (“The Gambler”) and Texas Battle (“Final Destination 3”).
