In “American Carnage” a few years ago, the cynical, reactionary opportunist Harper Finn (Brett Cullen) rose to become the governor of a US state. Now, to ensure his re-election, he is pushing through a new law under which all underage descendants of undocumented immigrants will be imprisoned and locked away.
However, there is one chance for the young people not to go to jail: they have to “voluntarily” commit themselves to working as geriatric nurses. But that turns out to be just a government ploy. When they arrive at the institution run by the sleazy Eddie (Eric Dane), the teens (including Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jenna Ortega, Jorge Diaz, Allen Maldonado, Bella Ortiz) quickly realize that they are trapped. Something is not right at all with the seniors living there…

Direction and screenplay for “American Carnage”, Incidentally, the title is borrowed from the 2017 inauguration speech of the then new US President Trump, are by Curvature and Game Time director Diego Hallivis. The main roles are played by “Night Teeth” and “Bumblebee’ star Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Jenna Ortega from ‘Scream 5, X, and Netflix’s upcoming horror comedy series Wednesday. The nasty governor and the home manager embody the well-known TV actors Brett Cullen (“Narcos”, “Lost”) and “Grey’s Anatomy” hunk Eric Dane.
Also joining the cast are Jorge Diaz (For All Mankind), Allen Maldonado from Project Power, Bella Ortiz (The Field) and Yumarie Morales (Hypochondriac).
