Jared Bush said that the scene he shared on his Twitter account was deleted because it spoiled the emotional effect of the movie.
Disney animation Encanto: The Magical World was one of the most acclaimed productions of the year despite its release towards the end of 2021. The film, which tells the story of the Madrigal family, who lives in a magical land in the mountains of Colombia and has special powers, received a passing grade from the audience and critics.
Jared Bush, one of the directors and screenwriters of the film, shared a scene on his Twitter account that was intended as the after-credits scene of the film but was not published. Bush stated that this scene was planned as a small joke at the end of the movie, but that they thought it would be more appropriate to finish the movie with the intensity of emotion that emerged after the family came together.
Encanto: The Magical World, written by Charise Castro Smith and Jared Bush; was led by Jared Bush, Byron Howard, and Charise Castro Smith.
