Dilberay, directed by Ketche and starring Büşra Pekin, will meet with the audience on February 4.
Dilber Ay, the daughter of a poor family with eight children, brought a lot of sadness and sadness to her life, which she started in a tent in Kahramanmaraş. He was beaten and tortured for singing, but despite all the pain he experienced, he saw the summit and the prison in the scenes where he stepped with the strength of his voice… He never gave up. He came out of the bottomless pit he fell into, always singing. He maintains his place in the memories as a master artist whom all of Turkey remembers with love and respect after his death with his voice engraved in memories and continues to prove the power of women.
Büşra Pekin plays the leading role in the film, which will tell the story of Dilber Ay’s life full of pain and misery that she lived since her childhood, with the strength of her voice, and how she became an artist that Turkey remembers with love and respect. In the trailer of the movie, we hear the two ballads named “Meyrik (A News Has Come From Maraş)” and “Noldu Gardaş”, which are identified with Dilber Ay, from Büşra Pekin’s voice. The screenplay of the movie was written by Kamuran Süner and Nalan Merter Savaş. The music of the film bears the signature of İskender Paydaş.
Directed by Ketche (Hakan Kırvavaç), the film stars Ayberk Pekcan and Nursel Köse, Zeliha Kendirci, Deniz Hamzaoğlu, Selen Uçar, who lost her life together with Büşra Pekin. “Dilberay”, co-produced by Aytaç Medya, Fikri Zengin Production, and Metronom Film Production, will be released on February 4 through CJ Entertainment.
