Diablo 4: "Don't believe everything you read" on the Internet

Release date, beta and pre-orders, Diablo 4 is the subject of several rumors. Is there any truth? Blizzard President Mike Ybarra is calming the heat.

When will Diablo 4, its beta or the opening of pre-orders be released? A journalist thinks he has information that doesn’t seem quite accurate…

Diablo 4 in April 2023 on consoles and PC?

In an article published on Windows Central, journalist Jez Corden reports several things about Diablo 4. The first detail that will interest more than one with regard to the expectation aroused by the game is the release window. According to him, the title would be set for the month of April 2023 in the Blizzard calendar on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Blizzard would intend to hit very hard by making this announcement during the Game Awards 2022, an event scrutinized by the whole world, especially for the many “World Premieres” that are made there. And that’s not all because the publisher would like to launch Diablo 4 pre-orders during the ceremony with a choice of a classic physical version, a digital edition and a more expensive collector’s item with goodies inside. A beautiful statue in sight? Why not, but one of the bonuses would be early access for an open beta in February 2023.

True and false in this? Without sorting out, Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard, calmed everyone down a bit with this tweet.

Don’t believe everything you read.

Here, here. To be continued…

While waiting to have the end of the story, Diablo 4 has been the victim of a huge leak with lots of gameplay if you want to get a better opinion.
