The new Japanese animated series “Demon Slayer” will return for season 2 on December 5, with simulcast broadcasts on the Wakanim and Crunchyroll platforms.
We finally know the launch date of the second season of Demon Slayer. New major license for Japanese animation since its film Demon Slayer: The Infinity Train became the biggest success of all time at the Japanese box office (also triumphed in France with more than 700,000 admissions), the he animated adaptation of Koyoharu Gotōge’s manga will be back on December 5.



Originally broadcast in France on Wakanim, the series will now also be offered on Crunchyroll. Note that the two platforms will offer from October 11 Demon Slayer: Infinity Train in episodic format (seven episodes in total, including a completely new one dedicated to Rengoku). The ideal opportunity for the rare spectators who have not yet seen it to catch up with this completely essential segment to connect the plot of the two seasons of the anime.
From the eponymous manga (18 volumes available from Panini Manga), Demon slayer follows the adventures of Tanjirō, an aspiring demon slayer willing to do anything to save the soul of his sister Nezuko, a young demon who manages to contain her evil impulses. The second season of the anime will adapt a new story arc, titled “The pleasure district”.
