“Deadpool 3” will be the confrontation between Wolverine and Deadpool, and the reunion on screen of the two actors and good friends Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. And to resume his role as Logan, Hugh Jackman will undergo significant physical preparation.
The encounter between Deadpool and Wolverine
On November 6, 2024, if the schedule does not change, we will be able to discover in France Deadpool 3. A new release from anti-hero Wade Wilson aka “Deadpool” (Ryan Reynolds), loudmouth vigilante and almost immortal thanks to an accelerated healing powerwhich will have the distinction of welcoming Hugh Jackman to its cast in his iconic role as Wolverine. We will therefore find the two characters in the same film after X-Men Origins: Wolverine, released in 2009, but it is as much for the reunion of the characters as for those of the actors that the public stamps with impatience. Indeed, it will have escaped no one that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman get along like thieves at the fair, constantly sending each other winks and valves on social networks.

Hugh Jackman will bring out the claws
The association of these two friends and superstars is a triple satisfaction. First of all to find Deadpool at the cinema, one of the best and most surprising characters in the Marvel universe. Then, the satisfaction of seeing Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds oppose each other in a film that should offer a maximum of humor and action. Finally, it will be the occasion, probably the last, to see Hugh Jackman come out the muscles and claws of his iconic Wolverine. And for that, the Australian actor said on the set of journalist Chris Wallace that he was going to embark on a six-month physical preparation to regain the necessary form.
I learned that we couldn’t speed up this process, that it took time. So, from the moment I’m done with “The Music Man” (January 15, 2023, editor’s note), I have six months before starting to shoot. And I’m not going to do anything else. I will be with my family and train. This will be my job for six months. (…) I am already in good shape now. If there’s one thing I get from singing and dancing eight times a week on Broadway, it’s that I’m in good shape. I am in good health, it is a good starting point. And I apologize to the chickens. Start panicking. Start running because I’m coming for you! (laughs)

Hugh Jackman developed for his nine performances as Wolverine a very impressive physique, all in muscles and bulging veins. First appeared in the role in 2000 in X-Men, he was then 32 years old. An age where it is easier to lend oneself to physical transformation. 22 years later, can Hugh Jackman still do it? Response in 2024!
