Deadpool 3: an entry into the ultra-violent MCU on the program

It is true that since Ryan Reynolds announced that Deadpool 3 would be Hugh Jackman’s last real foray as Wolverine and that the film would be an opportunity to introduce the protagonist to the MCU there has been much speculation. Will Disney completely sanitize the universe by removing its violence and vulgarity? Obviously not according to a very recent statement.

Deadpool 3 won’t be soulless

So during an interview for the newspaper Colliderdirector Shawn Levy (behind Free Guy) confirmed that the character of Wade Wilson will always have his sarcasm and will always say so many obscenities within the MCU. In Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynold is described as the director’s “North Star”, implying the mainstay to keep the character raw.

We write, rewrite, develop and prep Deadpool 3 every day now. It’s such a pleasure to laugh every day. It’s so delicious to hear, write and make up these scenes where people just say bad things. And the violence is in your head and hardcore, and it really is a Deadpool movie.

The director also explains that it is truly a unique film in a career:

It’s that it’s so filled with self-awareness, and it makes writing very, very fun in a way that’s unique to this franchise.

For the moment, the film Deadpool 3 should be released on November 8, 2024. But everything is still possible in terms of delay since filming has not started.
