DC: Warner Bros and Amazon hand in hand for animation content

Warner Bros. Television Studios is in the process of entering into a very important partnership for DC animated content. This is what we know.

As the newspaper reports DeadlineWarner Bros. Television Studios is in the process of securing a major animation deal with Amazon for DC-branded content. The information itself comes from the production manager Channing Dungeyofficiating at Warner in this position.

A bit of DC at Amazon

Here is Dungey’s statement about DC:

With animation we wanted to stay in-house, but now we do it on different platforms.

We explore animated IP on different platforms.

Alas, Dungey didn’t give any further details on the DC deal and continued his interview on the topic of his post:

There was a feeling for a while that if you’re not spending $10 million an hour, you’re not doing your job. But it doesn’t take that to put on a great show and do things differently.

We will therefore have to expect DC animated content on the Amazon Prime platform. It remains to be seen what form this will take, but what is certain is that Warner wants to add consistency to the DCU, including films, series but also video games.

We can imagine new content Batman Where Superman or why not something around Justice League. Especially since the 3 animated works of the 90s were a real success and there are many expectations on this subject.

What do you personally expect from such an agreement between the two big companies? What DC animation content would you like to see on Amazon Prime?
