“See – Reich der Blinden” is one of the very first in-house productions of Apple TV+ and was launched in 2019 at the same time as the streaming service. Now the end of the post-apocalyptic action series is imminent, which draws attention to itself mainly because of two facts: on the one hand through the prominent main actor Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”), who can let out his inner Khal Drogo again, after he was unfortunately only part of “Game Of Thrones” for one season, on the other hand because of the exciting premise. Because “See” plays in a post-apocalyptic setting in which everyone has been blinded by a virus and then fallen back into barbaric conditions. In the first trailer for season 3, the story about the blind warrior Baba Voss now culminates in an epic finale, as you can see above.
Ever since Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) fathered twins who are able to see, he has been on the alert. In the realm of the blind, intact eyesight is considered a danger to society, and so the brave family man always had to defend himself against enemies who wanted to kill his children. But after defeating his enemy brother Edo, things calmed down and Baba retreated to the forest alone. Season 3 picks up a year later. The blind warrior fights again to protect his family and tribe from a new threat. Because Trivantian inventors have developed a powerful weapon such as Baba and his fellow humans have never experienced…
The Season 3 trailer is a bit confusing because it features the villain played by Marvel star Dave Bautista. However, this is only a flashback to season 2 and no new material. Dave Bautista hasn’t been confirmed for the new episodes and probably won’t appear in them – except possibly in further flashbacks.
See Season 3 premieres August 26, 2022 on Apple TV+.
