The fall is spectacular. After Kaamelott’s hit last week and its 423,922 first day admissions (including 307,899 in AVP), cinema attendance has collapsed. 2 weeks ago, Fast and Furious 9 broke the house with 468,862 tickets sold.
The implementation of the health pass, in force since July 21, is undoubtedly one of the major causes of the desertion of dark rooms.
The Suicide Squad and Jungle Cruise are doing pretty well despite everything, each passing the 40,000 spectator mark. The two blockbusters are however very far from the scores to which they would have been able to claim in normal times.
The animated film Spirit the Indomitable completed the podium with 31,308 tickets having found takers. The comedy C’est la vie with Josiane Balasko is in 4th position with 15,044 admissions. As for the powerful thriller The Law of Tehran, it made an honorable score with 6,114 curious.
