ADAPTATION TO THE HAIR
Almost two centuries after its publication, the most famous of Alexandre Dumas father’s novels continues to inspire young and old. After numerous adaptations for theater, television and cinema, d’Artagnan’s adventures take on a new lease of life with the release of D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers.
Unveiled on August 25 on the big screen, this 3D animated feature film is the very first film by its director Toni Garcia. The latter thus adapts the cult Hispanic-Japanese series of the 80s, broadcast in France from 1984 and having punctuated the programming of the legendary Club Dorothée, with its unforgettable credits by Jean-Jacques Debout.
This year, the canine heroes of the 26 episodes of the series make their first cinema appearances. Because yes, the great originality of D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers is to put forward an animal cast: Athos is a German shepherd, Porthos is a Saint Bernard, Aramis is an English springer, while d’Artagnan is a beagle , not to mention the Pip mouse! A film that will delight nostalgic parents while charming their children!
