HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX. For the purposes of filming the fifth episode of the saga Harry PotterDaniel Radcliffe had to go to a psychologist.
[Mis à jour le 28 juin 2022 à 20h30] Harry Potter 5 is one of the darkest films in the saga. In Order of the Phoenix, the protagonist played by Daniel Radcliffe is still traumatized by the death of Cedric Diggory in the previous episode. The British actor, who plays Harry Potter since he was 11 years old, has been particularly informed before filming, going several times to a psychologist specializing in bereavement. His goal: to understand the emotional state in which the hero finds himself at this moment in the franchise.
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the main character not only suffers from having witnessed the death of his school friend in the fourth film, but he also feels great guilt for having survived Lord Voldemort and Peter Petigrow. This malaise is defined as the “survivor’s syndrome” in psychology. In the biography Daniel Radcliffe by Terri Dougherty (2009), the actor specifies that interpreting “the loneliness, the anger and the pain that Harry Potter was a real challenge” for him. However, it was worth it, since the actor considered in 2014 in the columns of the Daily Mail Online that he signed his best performance of the saga in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix is the fifth film in the saga. Adapted from the novel by JK Rowling, the feature film is directed by the British David Yates, released in 2007. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson return to their roles asHarry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. This production lasts 2h18. This feature film is the direct sequel to the fourth film in the saga, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and precedes the sixth pane, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Synopsis – Still traumatized by the death of Cédric Diggory, Harry Potter begins his fifth year of study at Hogwarts. He realizes, however, that the wizarding world refuses to believe in Voldemort’s return, while the Minister of Magic tries to take control of his school. To stand up against the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Dolores Umbridge, Harry and his friends form Dumbledore’s Army.
