FX has renewed the crime drama “Snowfall” created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron for its sixth and final season. The series is set in Los Angeles during the crack cocaine epidemic of the 1980s.
Season 5, currently streaming on FX, takes place in the summer of 1986 and follows Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) as he and his family grow rich and on the verge of having everything they want, from becoming a basketball star.

In the midst of all this, the family’s biggest threat is each other, as they try not to let greed, resentment and ego separate them.
