Crash Bandicoot 5: the new game is confirmed

For some time now, rumors and teasers have been multiplying regarding a certain Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League. A multiplayer game in the vein of a Fall Guys that should apparently feature the entire cast of the Crash Bandicoot franchise in a series of competitive mini-games.
The first elements fell several months ago already with an evocative illustration that appeared on Reddit.
Later, a videographer would have discovered an easter egg on a kit of goodies received from Activision. A pizza box containing a whole bunch of collectibles indeed displayed a series of numbers designating the date of the Game Awards. Thus suggesting an announcement at the event.

A new Crash Bandicoot game coming soon?

So many elements that lead to believe that the next game Crash Bandicoot 5 should show up shortly. Today is the account Twitter official of the mascot which adds a layer of it by playing us.
The Twitter account has indeed posted a screenshot similar to what the Spotify story gives to its users to present their retrospective of the year. Here, however, the screenshot displays a rather strange message by giving, not a listening time, but a playing time spent on the latest title in the franchise. It reads: “You’ve spent 62,023 minutes playing Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time this year.”

At first glance, it just looks like a blink of an eye, but ordering the numbers like a date, we get 6/20/23, or June 20, 2023 in American format. Doubt is no longer allowed, something is happening.
It didn’t take long for the news to turn heads and fans are already expecting to see it happen. Crash Bandicoot 5 next year, just a few days before the release of Final Fantasy 16, which should also be released in the summer of 2023.

Anyway, we should be quickly fixed. If we believe the few teasers and rumors, Crash Bandicoot 5 should be present at the Game Awards on December 8th. We just have to wait to get to the bottom of it.
