Individually, Paramount+ will cost €7.99 per month when it starts on December 8, 2022 in Germany. However, Sky customers who have the Cinema Package automatically get access to Paramount+ content at no extra charge and can thus increase their current streaming offer by numerous promising titles in one fell swoop. Because Paramount is one of the largest and oldest Hollywood studios, you will have some top titles in the program.

As part of the announcement, it was already revealed that the world’s biggest cinema hit of 2022 will then be available here as a streaming subscription: “Top Gun 2: Maverick will be available there at the launch of Paramount+ on December 8th.
Since Paramount is also the studio behind the legendary sci-fi series “Star Trek“, the new streaming service will gradually become the home for all content from this universe. Some of the rights are currently held elsewhere, so bundling will take time, but at the start in December there will finally be the German premiere of the celebrated new series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Those who have offspring can also look forward to the fact that they give the full load of “Paw Patrol” at Paramount +. In addition to “Paw Patrol: The Movie” there will also be all episodes of the series there. The new episodes of the ninth season of “Paw Patrol” are celebrating their exclusive premiere on the new streaming service.
The content that has already been announced in advance also includes one of the series highlights of the past few years, which still flies quite under the radar in Germany despite being published on Amazon Prime Video: “Yellowstone’ with Kevin Costner. In line with this, there is also the German premiere of the prequel series “1883”, which started in the USA at the end of 2021.

Because local productions have long been an important figurehead for streaming services, Paramount+ also has a title on offer here. The series “Der Scheich” is not supposed to be released right at the start on December 8th, but will be released a few weeks later on December 22nd. In the new production by Dani Levy (“Alles auf Zucker”), a hitherto well-behaved family man pretends to be a rich sheikh, which the banks are only too happy to believe.
