On the official site the anime adaptation of »Legend of Mana« was released today announcedthat it will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 7, 2022. You can check out a new trailer later in this article.
Anime based on video game
»Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal« is being directed by Masato Jinbo (»Senryu Girl«), who is also responsible for the composition of the series, at the studios Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Lab. Tarou Ikegami (»Lapis Re:LiGHTs«) is responsible for character design, while Yoko Shimomura (»High Score Girl«) is composing the series’ music.
The lead roles include Yuuichirou Umehara (Gorou in “DARLING in the FRANXX”) as Ruri and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuki Souma in “Fruits Basket”) as Shiloh, while Kaori Nazuka (Chii in “Tsubasa Chronicle”) is the character Shinju Hime speaks.
Legend of Mana, originally Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana, is the fourth game in the Seiken Densetsu series, released for the PlayStation in 1999. A remastered version was released in June 2021 for Windows, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
