On the official Twitter account of the anime series »Blue Lock« was released today announcedthat it will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 8, 2022. You can check out a new trailer and visual for it later in this article.

»Blue Lock« is being produced at Studio 8-Bit under the direction of director Tetsuaki Watanabe (»Powerful Pro Yakyuu«). Taku Kishimoto (»Hanebado!«) is writing the script and doing series composition, while Sawako Takagi, Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya are contributing to character design.
The video introduces the opening song titled “Chaos ga Kiwamaru” sung by three-piece Japanese band Unison Square Garden. The series will be simulcast on the streaming platform Crunchyroll in the original Japanese language with subtitles.
The manga series by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura has been published in Weekly Shounen Magazine since August 2018. The publisher Kodansha has published 20 volumes in the Japanese trade so far. The work is published in Germany by KAZÉ Manga in German.
