Charlotte Ritchie has confirmed that she will take the lead role in the fourth season of Netflix’s “You”. Ritchie will star as Kate opposite series star Penn Badgley. The character is described as terribly intelligent, independent, suspicious, never missing anything. Fiercely loyal to his friends, he has built a wall for strangers.
The daughter of a chaotic, bohemian single mother, Kate has worked hard to create the life she currently leads. She is an art gallery director whose job means managing stormy artists. He particularly protects his best friend, Lady Phoebe, who is a sweet and trustworthy person whose extreme wealth and fame tend to lure opportunists. Kate prefers “edits” to love, so she’s dating the fun but selfish party-goer Malcolm.
When Malcolm invites Joe, a seemingly nowhere American foreigner, into his privileged world, Kate not only dislikes him but strongly suspects that something about the man is not what it seems. Ritchie previously co-starred with Mae Martin in the Netflix series “Feel Good.” She is also known for her role in the hit drama series “Call the Midwife” as well as the BBC comedy series “Ghosts”, which was recently remade into a CBS series of the same name.
Most recently, he has completed filming for Season 7 of “Grantchester” as well as “Wonka” starring Timothee Chalamet. Represented by Creative Artists Management and Alan Siegel Entertainment. Season 3 of “You” debuted on Netflix in 2021. Considering the events in the Season 3 finale, the production of Season 4, which is believed to take place in Europe, started recently.
