Before the César 2022, the Academy rewarded the technical sector through the presentation of the César & Techniques prizes. An evening that honored two companies that have contributed to the influence of cinematographic creation. Find out which ones.

This Wednesday, January 19, 2022, the César & Techniques awards ceremony took place, during a ceremony broadcast online. Before discovering the César 2022 ceremony, on February 25 on CANAL +, the Académie des César rewarded the technical sector of cinema.

An event that focused on companies that have highlighted an event, development strategy or particular contribution to filmmaking in the past year.

Thus, the César & Techniques Trophy 2022 was awarded to Micro Climate Studios, a company created in 2018 which provides technical and human follow-up for the entire post-production chain of cinematographic projects, short and feature films.

These last months, Micro Climate Studios has notably worked on films such as Onoda by Arthur Harari, Slalom by Charlène Favier, Olga by Elie Grappe, Oranges sanguines by Jean-Christophe Meurisse, Les Héroïques by Maxime Roy…

For its part, the César & Techniques Innovation Prize distinguishes a company that has created a new product or service contributing to the development of creation and the quality of the distribution of cinematographic works. This year, this trophy was awarded to the company Deluxe – ETS France, a specialist in delivering films to cinemas, and which in 2021 offered a content streaming service.

Follow the César ceremony on Friday February 25 live and exclusively on CANAL+.
