Cate Blanchett to Star in Film Adaptation of Ben Stiller’s The Champions Series

Cate Blanchett will star in the film adaptation of the 1960s TV series The Champions, directed by Ben Stiller.

Ben Stiller will sit on the director’s chair again with an adaptation for the first time after Zoolander 2. Actor Ben Stiller, who made a name for himself with the Emmy-winning series Escape at Dannemora, will direct the film adaptation of The Champions, which was broadcast in the 1960s. Along with Ben Stiller in the lead role of the movie, Nightmare Alley, Don’t Look Up, Borderlands and tar master actor that we will watch in eagerly anticipated productions such as Cate Blanchett it will include. The duo is also producing the film.

Ben Stiller, who will sign his first feature after 2016’s Zoolander 2, most recently directed the Apple TV+ series Severance, starring Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, John Turturro and Christopher Walken.
