Call of Duty Warzone 2: two big news that will not please

As Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 smashes records, the sequel to Activision’s Battle Royale experience looms on the horizon. Scheduled for November 16 at the same time as the imposing first season of the FPS, Warzone 2 gives us two pieces of information… of weight.

Warzone 2 weighs a ton

The first is none other than the weight of the game, a real juggernaut (once again) Warzone 2 alone will weigh the trifle of 115 GB according to some well-informed people. A weight that should be approximately the same whether you choose the PC version, PS5, Xbox SeriesPS4 or Xbox One.
Moreover, if we add it to what already weighs Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, both games easily exceed 230GB. So remember to provide space on your SSD before launching and above all, a good connection.

The nuclear bomb in the Battle Royale?

Second major news, but concerning the gameplay this time, several famous Call of Duty insiders claim that it would be possible to use a nuclear bomb on Warzone 2. Although this is obviously difficult to activate and not necessarily available in every game. A novelty as surprising as it is unexpected.

While we don’t yet know how the bomb works, Call of players know all too well its effects in classic multiplayer. The nuclear bomb (or neutron in the case of this Modern Warfare 2) is an ultimate killstreak that can be obtained by chaining no less than 30 kills without dying. From then on, it is possible to request a nuclear strike on the map, which directly ends the current game.

It’s hard to imagine such a thing on a game that will involve more than a hundred players simultaneously. However, it would indeed seem that the atomic weapon is available on Warzone 2, even if the effects will certainly be very different from what we find in the basic multi. See you on November 16 to get to the bottom of it.
