Often criticized in the past for never technically evolving, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 wishes to change its habits and offer a particularly contemporary and qualitative technique as we can discover via new gameplay extracts
What if Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was a graphic slap?
The Infinity Ward studio wanted to show what it is capable of and wanted to surpass itself for this new opus: see what it looks like in a gameplay video of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:
Oh my God, Amsterdam looks amazingly realistic in the new call of duty – almost can’t believe it’s a video game
It must be admitted that the image is particularly photo-realistic. To convince you, a Twitter user made a video comparison with reality.
amazing – @korkmazmelih went to the same place and recreated the video!
It’s just amazing how well they’ve managed to make the game look like real life.
Note the detail up to the storefronts but also the animation of the various characters that appear on the screen in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 video. We suspect that the FPS development studio has sent a team on site to capture. Moreover, during our meeting with Glen Schofield during the presentation of Call of Duty WW2, the man explained to us at the time that for the COD license, the teams were always keen to represent the environments as faithfully as possible when it was possible (even if at the time it was the Sledgehammer Games studio).
In short, an attention to detail which proves once again that this new episode should be a great graphic and technical slap. For the record, this new COD is scheduled for October 27, 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
