A new trailer for “Buzz Lightyear” has been released by Disney. The film will be released next summer, but there is no indication for the moment if it will be in theaters or on the Disney+ platform.
New trailer for Buzz Lightning
“To infinity and beyond !“We all remember this sentence pronounced by Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story (1995). A phrase as famous as Sheriff Woody’s sidekick is. No wonder Disney decided to give the character his own movie. Or at least, to the character who inspired the toy.
This allows the studio to offer an original story in a fabulous universe towards the stars. At least that’s what the first trailer sold us, and what comes to confirm the second (in one article).
We discover the pilot Buzz Lightyear, on an unknown planet and that he will finally be able to leave. After a year of working on his ship with his entire team, he will head to space in search of another world. But this journey is unlikely to lead him to safety, and there will be many enemies to face starting with what obviously appears to be Emperor Zurg.
When and where to see the film?
The latest animated films from Pixar and Disney have unfortunately not been entitled to distribution in cinemas. Drunk has for example been broadcast directly on Disney+as Luke. The same fate will be reserved for Red alert (March 11). So we wonder what will happen to Buzz Lightning.
Especially since the latest trailer only indicates a summer outing, but without specifying whether it will be in the cinema or on the streaming platform. The last Pixar film to hit the big screen was Forward. As for Disney productions without Pixar, the treatment is generally different, likeEncanto. We hope that Buzz Lightning will allow the studio behind Toy Story to return to theaters.
