Ho Ho Ho! Netflix pulled out the most gift of its Christmas hood by announcing the return date of the Bridgerton Chronicle two days ago. Season 2 will therefore be available… on March 25, 2022.
Lady Whistledown has taken out her best feather to announce to the actors and fans of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons the date of season 2. The romantic-historical series will be back on March 25, as evidenced by this adorable video shared by Netflix the day of Christmas :
An announcement date not trivial since it comes a year exactly after the launch of season 1 on the streaming platform. Big hit of the year 2021, The Chronicle of the Bridgertons will introduce two new characters in the next episodes, including the brand new love interest of Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), played by Simone Ashley, who can be seen at his side. Charithra Chandran was cast to play her sister, Edwina Sharma.
If Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne) is the big one absent from this video (just like Regé-Jean Page who will not be back), it is because her character will be set back in season 2, to make way for the love affairs of the elder Bridgerton.
