Dying Can Wait and Venom 2 are still on the podium, but this week they are overtaken by The Eternals, the new Marvel film which is off to a very good start.

By attracting 775,467 spectators, The Eternals manages to do better in week one than two other recent Marvel comic book adaptations: Venom: Let There Be Carnage (676,090) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (481,173).
On the other hand, the work of Chloé Zhao remains behind Black Widow which had gathered 909,000 curious during its first 7 days of exploitation. It is also the 6th best start of the year behind To die can wait, Fast & Furious 9, Dune, Kaamelott and therefore Black Widow, all of which had higher numbers of sessions when they were released.
Behind this undisputed leader, we find again the blockbusters of this end of the year (while waiting for the next Spider-Man and The Matrix): the James Bond, which now has 3.6 million torn tickets, and Venom 2 and its 1 , 4 million. As for Eiffel, it totals 1.26 million tickets sold to date and is in 6th position.
Family films are also still in number in the top 10: The wolf and the lion (4th) should very soon cross the million admissions, The Addams Family 2 (5th) approach of 900,000 spectators and Ron unlocks (7th) has exceeded 500,000 tickets sold, a threshold that should also soon be crossed Little Nicolas’ Treasure (9th).
The only other new feature of the week to make it into the leaderboard is comedy If we sang which started tentatively with nearly 119,000 admissions.
