For its first week of operation, Dune hits hard, attracting more than a million curious people. It is followed by Black Box and Bac Nord, which are doing well in French productions.
BOX-OFFICE FROM SEPTEMBER 15 TO 21, 2021: THE TOP 10
Black Box remains in second position for the 2nd consecutive week. The thriller with Pierre Niney crosses the bar of 500,000 tickets sold. As for North Bac, the sensation of summer, he remains firmly attached to the 3rd step of the podium. Cumulatively, the action film with Gilles Lellouche reached 1.6 million admissions. It does better than Shang-Chi, which falls in 4th position, failing to reach the million torn banknotes.
Side French comedies, two novelties disappoint. Spoiled rotten with Gérard Jugnot and The origin of the world by Laurent Lafitte painfully manage to pass the milestone of 100,000 spectators. At the bottom of the table, Grégory Gadebois manages to bring together more than 200,000 gourmets with Delicious, followed by animated films Paw Patrol and Boss Baby 2.
