Boba Fett: Fans want a Star Wars trilogy from this director

Will the broadcast of the fifth episode of the series “The Book of Boba Fett” allow director Bryce Dallas Howard to direct his own Star Wars feature film?

With its episode entirely devoted to the Mandalorian Din Djarin, the series The Book of Boba Fett finally seems to have found the right formula to satisfy fans of the Star Wars universe. The presence behind the camera of director Bryce Dallas Howard undoubtedly played an important role in the good reception of the episode by subscribers to the Disney+ platform.

Already employed on the two seasons of The Mandalorian, the filmmaker (who is also known for her work as an actress, notably in the films Jurassic World and Twilight: Chapter 3) is also the daughter of Ron Howard, who had directed the feature spin-off Solo: A Star Wars Story.

In Topic Trending on Twitter since the broadcast this Wednesday of episode 5 of the Boba Fett book, the name of Bryce Dallas Howard generated no less than 12,000 tweets worldwide, of which here is a selection:

Happy Boba Day 💚 ⁣#TheBookofBobaFett #StarWars #LoveMyJob ⁣ pic.twitter.com/WKxuHQjmWz

So the best episode of #TheBookOfBobaFett is not under the cap of Rodriguez, and in addition to having a moderate fan service, we finally have fun??!

But why isn’t Bryce Dallas Howard directing and creating stuff for Star Wars? Give him a fucking trilogy! pic.twitter.com/EiPelA5nTK

It is by freeing itself from its seedy political intrigue, its mono-expressive characters and its crappy American nights that #TheBookOfBobaFett gains in relevance. Sharp atmospheres, breadth, chills. Give Bryce Dallas Howard a movie. pic.twitter.com/kg5BpvH4ad

BUT WHAT WAS THAT BOMB? 😵

Bryce Dallas Howard not only signs the BEST episode of #TheBookOfBobaFett (a real paradox given the episode), but also one of the best of the Disney era.

Poetry, enriched lore, references, sumptuous finale, strong scenes… GRANDIOSE. pic.twitter.com/uQVoRFfj3d

Make a nightmare creature out of a machine, make an explosion contemplative, sublimate the apocalypse…

In three episodes, Bryce Dallas Howard has imposed his talent in #TheMandalorian and #TheBookOfBobaFett, including poetry at its real, and its artistic direction. I love it. pic.twitter.com/1O5w9SRC6l

#ThankYouBryceHoward
We had Return of the Jedi
We had the Return of the King
We have the Return of the Queen
The confirmation of a director already at the top for The Mandalorian sweeping the heavy slate #TheBookofBobaFett in 50 mins. High class cameos, photography and lore 🙏 pic.twitter.com/qgq6g2mwub

this talented and invested redhead directed episodes 4 season 1, and 3 season 2 of #TheMandalorian
then episode 5 of #TheBookOfBobaFett
bryce dallas howard in addition to deserving to direct a potential Star Wars trilogy, deserves our love. ♥ pic.twitter.com/0ucDvFqlul
