The father of Home party
Bob Saget will have mainly marked the spirits of the spectators by interpreting Danny Tanner in the series Home party. For eight seasons, from 1987 to 1995, he was this bereaved father who raised his three daughters alone. Among the latter, there was Michelle, played by the very young Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. With the binoculars and this role of nice papa hen who remained attached to the image of Bob Saget, the series became cult for a whole generation.
After Home party, the actor appeared in a few series as guest. He also lent his voice to Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother, before returning to his role as Danny Tanner in Home Party: 20 years after (2016-2020). In addition to his appearances in front of the screen, Bob Saget was a recognized humorist. He was still active and was yet to perform his show in 2022. He had also held a two-hour performance in Jacksonville a few hours before his death.
