Bloodborne was still on everyone’s lips last night when no announcement was made. In question, a classic post from Sony perceived as a teaser by a fringe of players.
Teasing or simple clumsiness? We will probably never have the answer, but Sony once again ignited the Web yesterday with a simple Tweet. The brand’s official account has indeed had the misfortune to post content relating to Bloodborne. The rest you guess.
When Sony teases Bloodborne Remake … or not
A Tweet and the Internet is in turmoil. The official Sony brand account shared a tweet yesterday where followers had to guess which game was being shown. The image was a zoomed in portion of a PlayStation exclusive that was none other than…Bloodborne. It was enough for the fans to get carried away and see it as some form of teasing. In just a few minutes, more than 15,000 posts around the FromSoftware title have been created. Sony quickly deleted his tweet, which added fuel to the fire with some. If a majority is aware that this is just a simple post to engage the community, others really see it as a teasing. The various rumors around a canceled or delayed PlayStation Showcase confirm their theory.
In any case, the Japanese firm has big plans for Fromsoftware. It has indeed minority shares among the creators ofElden Ring and claimed that she did not rule out the possibility of adapting their games on the small or big screen, and of financing some of its productions. What fans are waiting for, however, is the arrival of Bloodborne on PS5, in the form of remasterupdate or remake. Officially nothing is planned for the moment, but this does not prevent them from hoping with each mention of the game. Jason Schreier had however tried to temper their expectations by declaring last July: “ I can’t leak what doesn’t exist “. By dint of crying wolf, perhaps their demands will finally be heard.
