New dramatic thriller signed France 2, “Coups de sang” can count on a regular collaborator of France Televisions: Michelle Bernier. For the occasion, she finds David Kammenos, with whom she had worked 4 years earlier on another TV movie.
Blood : Michèle Bernier changes register
Active on the boards since the early 80s, Michèle Bernier stood out very early on when she formed a stunning comic trio with Mimie Mathy and Isabelle de Botton. Known for his straightforward and raw humor, the artist was subsequently regularly illustrated in cinema and television. Without forgetting the radio since she officiated in Les Grosses Têtes. A great career then.
In the new France 2 TV movie titled Blood, the actress takes a dramatic turn (a rare thing when you look at her career). Indeed, the TV movie follows Mireille Delgado (played by Michelle Bernier) who finds herself facing a tragedy. since his granddaughter Justine is violently murdered. Very quickly, François Delgado (played by David Kammenos), the latter’s father and PJ policeman, accuses Ryan Kowalsky, a childhood friend of Justine’s of being the culprit. However, to the latter’s surprise, he finds himself confronted by his own mother Mireille who is convinced of Ryan’s innocence.
Michelle and David collaborate again
This is not the first time that Michelle Bernier and David Kammenos have acted together in a TV movie. In fact, in 2017, the two actors collaborated in Murders in Orleans, a production broadcast on France 3. Once again, Bernier and Kammenos formed a solid filial duo since they embodied respectively stepmother and son-in-law.
This new collaboration therefore delighted Michèle Bernier who, moreover, is full of praise for her playing partner, as she mentioned during her interview with Leisure TV :
He is a wonderful, very talented boy with a physique to die for. But that’s not what emerges from him. He puts so many things in his roles, so many wounds, so many blacks. (…) I was happy that it was he who gave me the answer during these somewhat harsh scenes between our two characters. Because we know that we love each other. We became friends in life. We can all the better tell each other about the horrors in front of the camera when we know we love each other behind the scenes. Getting along well gives us confidence and freedom to play.
There is no doubt that this collaboration between the two artists will once again make sparks with Blood Strokes. This will require being there on November 1, from 9 p.m. on France 2.
Note that Michelle Bernier has planned another reunion by the end of the year. We will see her on TF1 on December 20, on the occasion of the 100th episode of Joséphine, Guardian Angel. She will thus find her early accomplices, Mimie Mathy and Isabelle de Botton.
