The e-book reader will be available from October 12, but can already be pre-ordered.

The new Kindle offers some improvements over the previous model, which is currently available on Amazon for €79.99. The screen resolution has been increased from 167 ppi to 300 ppi. So you get much sharper sides presented. In addition, the storage space has been doubled from 8 to 16 gigabytes.

And Amazon has also improved the battery. Now you can have up to six weeks of reading fun with one charge, which is now via USB-C. The previous model had a battery life of four weeks. Amazon has also managed to pack the technical innovations into a smaller device. The screen is the same size as before. The Kindle is narrower and lighter than its predecessors.
Unicorn Valley, Space Whale or Ocean Explorer – the new Kindle Kids comes in three design variants and offers functions optimized for children. Here, too, Amazon has fine-tuned the technology and also given the latest generation a 300 ppi display, 16 gigabytes of storage space and more battery power.

There is also annual access to Amazon Kids+ with a large library of books suitable for children. There was no distraction, because the Kindle Kids cannot play videos or games. This ensures that the little ones really engage with books.
