Barrack Obama, who shares his favorite movies and TV series every year due to his interest in cinema, listed his favorites among the movies he watched in 2021.
As every year, this year the ex-US President Barack Obamashared their favorite movies of the upcoming year. Making a list of his favorite movies every year in December, Obama was not late to share his admirable movie taste with his followers.
Söze said, “In the next few days, I will be sharing my annual list of favorite books, music and movies. Art always feeds the soul, but for me, music and story are especially important in this year of the pandemic,” Obama’s list includes films that have been acclaimed by critics, as well as films that have received wide acclaim.
Many Obama’s films are on the list, such as Drive My Car, the Japanese film competing for the Best Foreign Language Film, the documentary Summer of Soul, which is also frequently mentioned during the award season, West Side Story and The Power of the Dog. Saying, “Each of these films tells a strong story and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do,” Obama conveys the selection style behind the list he presents to his followers.
The list, made by Obama last year, includes films such as Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Beanpole, Bacurau, Nomadland, Soul, Lovers Rock, Collective, Mank, Martin Eden, Let Him Go, Time, Boys State, Selah and the Spades, and Crip Camp. Most of the films on this list were nominated and talked about at the Oscar Awards.
We have the movie list, but there is no news yet of Obama’s favorite 2021 TV series. But it’s worth waiting for it to arrive soon.
